Our shop has a wide range of products from which you can quickly and easily select a whole buffet of tapas dishes. You will find all the ingredients you need for setting the table with a fresh tapas buffet.
Dry cured and smoked salmon, several different kinds of herring, dill and mustard sauce (hovmästarsås) and a sauce with shrimps, mayonnaise and dill (skagen mix). Scrambled eggs and new potatoes with chives make a simple, yet delicious, accompaniment. Serve with fresh baked bread and a something nice to drink. Buen provecho!

Eat fish for your heart

There are aromas in Alder firewood which give a fantastic smoky taste
At Falkenberg Salmon Smoke-house we aim to further tradition and know-how. We know how fish should taste and how it should be prepared and preserved by smoking and dry curing.
In order to achieve a good smoky taste, we carefully select alder firewood to use when we smoke our products. Alder firewood is delivered to Falkenberg Salmon Smoke-house as large logs and we chip them ourselves. We do this to extract as much as possible of the aromas and tastes which are naturally present in the wood.

We have a wide range of fresh fish in our shop – e.g. salmon steaks, sliced smoked and dry cured salmon, salmon & shellfish salads, freshly-smoked herring and mackerel etc.
We also offer ready-cooked food from our kitchen. The range varies according to season, demand and the imagination of the kitchen staff.

We offer suggestions for a small number of wines, which simplifies the choice if you buy different kinds of salmon, but want to drink the same wine.
The choice of wine concerns intensity of taste and the various dominant natural tastes in the respective wine. We also give tips for suitable beers.

The competition is ongoing and a winner is appointed every month. The winning recipe is published under the heading”Recipe of the Month”.
